Holocaust

So it has been over sixty years since the Holocaust and this day is remembered by the Jewish history. Adolf Hitler sent off to kill all the Jews. The remembrance day began on January 24 2005, during a special session of the United State General Assembly.  On January 27 1945, is when the largest Nazi death camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated by Soviet troops. A lot of people had died in this and it is a sad day in history.

Gossip!

OK so about gossiping yes its bad and everyone does it. Sometimes its the truth and other times its just people don't have anything to do but just to talk about other people! There can be good gossiping like "oh that girl on the soccer team did really good last night, you should of seen her play." Other times it is like nasty like "omg did you see what that girl was wearing, I mean it looks so nasty on her!" Everyone has there own way of communicating with people and people do it by gossiping. A way I would describe gossip is girls and guys have nothing else better to do except sit there and bash other peoples reputation and talk sh** about them because there life is already crappy enough so they talk about other peoples. When people sit there and are talking about other people and like I listen and Im like wow they have nothing better to do. If you have gossiped about someone and felt bad about it I would go to that person what you said and tell them your sorry. Ya so gossiping is bad!

PSA

Our new project is a PSA. In my group is Natalie Hayley Jake Megan and me, our group is called the Cool Kids! Our topic is coving teen bullying and what causes it and how it can be prevented. No just physical content is used as bullying but also words. In high school words can hurt more then contact. More boys doing bullying because they try to fit in a cool group when they dont realize they are getting themselves hurt and others, when in that group they arent cool they are lame! Doing this project will hopefully inspire people not to bully! 

One of my Projects

This was one of my projects it was a group thing we had to do. It was a lot of fun to do. In the group it was Natalie Jake and I. Are news name was KJN News.  Natalie and I talked about the Bachelor. Jake talked about underground Peoria which is the skating. In the news recording part was hard because you couldn't make it look like you were reading the paper. We had a lot of bloopers that had happened. Over all it was a lot of fun and I enjoy working in groups for projects!

Easter

This Easter vacation wasn't anything really special. I stayed home and spent time with my friends and family. I took my sister to the Hannah Montana movie over break and it was a lot of fun I liked the movie a lot I think people should go to it they would like it a lot! On Easter i went to church and had a huge dinner at my house and everyone came we ate dinner and sat around and talked. We had a egg hunt and my cousins and my little brother and sister all had to fine the eggs my dad, uncle Tim and me had to hide. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully next year we can go out of town!

A shooting Star

I have choosen a shooting star as my inspirational picture that means something to

me. The reason I chose this is because I liked it and that its a mystery. I have aways thought everyone is because eventhough you know them really well there is always something about them you dont know? The sky and a shooting star is the same was. A shooting star you can see and it is sometimes you never know when it will come. The same with people you may know someone but then they do something and you would never think that it would happen. This picture is a good inspirational picture because no matter who you are you always have a different veiw on it.

Lent

Lent this year is going ok I mean Im not that great at keeping it. This year I first tried to get away with doing something extra like donating some clothes of mine. That didnt work. Then my mom made me give up soda ya like I know if it is working I dont know how many times I have drank soda. Then we went to not to skip church and if I do I have to make it up. Well that has been the best one so far! Im not sure if it has brought me closer to God, Like i alrerady go to church and study about him and the past but I have always thought I have always been close to him.

Future Career... When I grow up I wanna be a...

When I grow up I want to be someone who works on computers. I love being on a computer and you can kinda say I'm a computer geek. I would like to do advertisements and design sings billboards and etc, for companies. I like designing everything so having a job like that would be great. In computers I learn a lot and next year Ill be talking two computer classes so I cant wait to learn new things! So I think Im going to go!

Service Project.

I have already completed my service project last year. On my spare time that I rarely have I coach volleyball at St. Marks. I do mostly the eighth grade, I have two other people that help me who are freshman. My family belongs to St. Marks and my brother and sister go there so I was talking to the P.E. teacher who I love knew I play volleyball. I love being with the girls there they are so much to be with and their all so nice and when I know they like playing volleyball I know that the other girls and me did something right at practice.

Paul Harvey

Paul Harvey was born on September 4, 1918. He literally grew up in newsrooms. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he made his own radio sets as a little boy. In high school, he frequented KVOO radio until the manager finally hired him. His contributions to broadcasting and communications took him around the world and brought him full circle back to Oklahoma for induction into The Hall of Fame. In St. Louis, Paul Harvey became the Special Events Director and newsman at KXOK. The ABC Networks have been bringing Paul to national radio audiences for over 50 years on over 1000 radio stations. Among his incredible list of honors he is the recent recipient of the Presidential Medal of Honor, bestowed upon him in 2005 by President George W. Bush. He died on Feburary 28,2009. He was a very wonderful man and had done alot in his life time.

My Name Project!

So this week we have been working on our name project. I had a theme through mine. It was a sepia look but it is a little lighter and brighter. I have pictures that describe me which is family and friends was the best way that would describe me. I really enjoyed working on this I had a lot of fun with it. I really didn't have that much difficulty with it and when I needed help with it I asked Ms. Pernio. The really only thing that I had problems with was trying to find a song that I liked and that didn't have any bad language in it. I finally picked one, its really old but it is really good, Butterflies Kisses. I would do another project like this on my own time.

A Quadruple Sky Over Great Salt Lake Credit & Copyright: Michael Wilson
Explanation: This was a sky to show the kids. All in all, three children, three planets, the Moon, a star, an airplane and a mom were all captured in one image near Great Salt Lake in Utah, USA on September 6. Minus the airplane and the quadruple on the ground, this busy quadruple coincidence sky was visible last week all over the world. The easiest object to spot is the crescent Moon, which is easily the brightest sky orb in the above image. Venus is the highest planet in the sky, with Jupiter to its right. The bright star Spica completes the quadruple just below Venus. The streak on the far right is an airplane. Mom is seated. Grandpa, appreciating the beauty of the moment, took the picture.

Being sick and this weekend

So this week hasnt been so great. I have been stuck home sick and it hasnt been great. I havent been able to see my friends. The bright side of all this is i got some sleep. Missing a couple days can put you behind very easily. So this weekend i spent it doing my homework and with my best friend. On friday the 13 we always watch scarey movies, so we did and we got Strangers. I can tell you what happened in the being but i wouldnt be able to tell you what happened in the end of the movie. Also my parents come home on sunday i cant wait to see them and also what they got me =] Being sick can stink and having a weekend to be happy to see my parents is pretty good.

Peoples Private Lives

I think that what happen with the whole Michael Phelps smoking weed was all his choice. Yes he is the a gold metalist a role model to tons of kids. It shouldnt change anyones opinion on him just from that. Its peoples choices for doing it and like if he was a normal kid it wouldnt matter. People make there own choices in life and just because they are famous it shouldnt make a bigger difference. Peoples lives should stay to themselves esspecially their private lives, and no one should judge them after what they do.

Mortgages

These people bought home with mortgages that were ridiculous. In many cases these were homes that were so expensive they were more than people that could afford without creative financing, but we are living in a society where people wanted to keep up with. So now they are thinking it is a shipwreck. I mean who wouldn't people choose these so called dream house that they cant afford but still get it thinking that the government will pay for it. They thought wrong. So hopefully people have learned there lesson about what they can and cant afford.

My Thoughts

So my thoughts about this years vice-versa is going to be very gay. Our homecoming was pointless to go to. We really couldn't dance because we had music no one liked. If you are going to have a high school dance at least have music we like and let us dance the way we want to. We are going to be in high school once in our life time at east enjoy the school and the dances we go to. We wouldn't want to look back at our high school and say how much we didn't have at our dances. I know i would want to look back at high school and say how much fun i had and the dances and activities where something i would never forget but in a good way not saying how much fun i didn't have. You would want to look at your high school years as the best and worst you have but mostly good. So going to this years vise-versa isn't really in my plans unless i have a change in mind.

High School

Having Woodruff High School would be the greatest idea. Especially having a lot of them go to Central High School. All the history of these two schools will be gone and then Central will be extremely packed and the school wouldn't be that big for another school to join them. Then Central wouldn't be called Peoria High School, so they are taking all the history from these two schools, without really thinking about how it would impact Peoria.

Obama

I really don't agree with one of his first decision he has made. It was about how some percent of our money will go to abortion by funding if they cant afford it. While Bush was president he didn't have it. So this means the little countries down south will have to have a clinic place where they can have so those countries can get some money, our tax money. That was the first change he has made on his first day of being president so i don't think he started on the right foot, and especially to those who weren't for him this doesn't help it.

What's "in" in todays fashion!

For today's Golden Globes where the long but elegant. On the Red Carpet you saw all the designer names which all the ladies where wearing. Also short dresses where in they where worn by the Pussycat Dolls, which wasn't worn well. Eva Longoria Parker was what I think the best dressed on the Red Carpet. She wore a long red dress which was simple but very classy. Jennifer Lopez was wearing a dress that was showing a lot of skin, which she could of covered but just a little bit more. The dress was a gold and long but the top only covered her chest area. this year at the Golden Globes long dress where "in" this year.
